Dalby, on the other hand, had near perfect weather. A little rain on the Sunday morning threatened conditions, but all it seemed to really do was dampen down the dust.

Recent happenings
The two main events that I attended in the last month were the start of the NPS 4X at Uk Bikepark, Dorset and Round 1 of the UCI XC World Cup at Dalby Forest, North Yorkshire. One was a mudfest while the other dry. The pictures do a far better job of illustrating conditions than my poor grammer ever will, so I'll leave it to them.
Will Longden managed to stay upright after Scott Beaumont took a digger at the bottom of the start ramp and went on to take the win.
